HBC gave me discipline & focus that set the tone for the rest of my life. Loved boxing under Gordon Lewis & Ronnie Russell. I also played rugby thru U16's then to Villa, West Hull, Kingfisher & Fish Trades. Ted Rutter was an absolute gentleman running the bodybuilder area. Thanks HBC

without HBC,Jim Brown and Pete Bell I would'nt have had the success I had playing Rugby League.A great place with the best coaches around.A credit to the Rugby League world.

A great club, turned into a great boxer and learnt me great skills. If it wasn't for the club and Jim the trainer, chances are I would of ended up in the life of crime. Any challengers for a boxing fight, then i shall be more than happy to accept.
